Pensioner goes wrong with gun at children playing
White idyll everywhere. For children, this means primarily a chance of snowmen and snowball fights!
A 68-year-old in Mettmann proved absolutely nothing as a friend of white winter joys. He was really annoyed by the snowball some neighboring kids.
When even a snowball flew from his window cracked by the pensioner in the defense: He ran out, roared out an eleven-year (the ball was probably not thrown), it kicked him in the butt, pulled out a pistol and shot!
The children alerted their parents, in turn, the police intervened. When the officers were ringing with the man to have the shot too, with his gas pistol into the air - but only drive out to the children, he said.
The police slumped the weapon for which he had no small arms Seemingly.
This tells the Arms Act
View of the occasion, the police points to the relevant provisions of the Firearms Act. For driving (type approved) or alarms, irritant and firing guns in public is the so-called "small arms permit" is required. This was introduced with the enactment of the new Firearms Act in 2002. It allows the holder to exercise actual control over a weapon of the kind described outside the home, business premises or enclosed possessions. Such a weapon must bear the mark PTB (Physikalisch-Technische Bundesanstalt). Their use outside of a peaceful land again, but also allows the little gun permit no. A firing is permitted only in self-defense situations.
